Best Cinnamon Rolls in San Francisco

San Francisco's world-class bakery culture extends to cinnamon rolls, from sourdough specialists in the Mission to weekend-only pop-ups in the Marina.

Ranked by Google rating weighted for review volume, plus press coverage and whether a bakery specializes in the roll. A 4.9 from a handful of reviews does not outrank a 4.8 from hundreds.

Does Tartine Bakery have a cinnamon roll? No. Tartine's menu at 600 Guerrero runs to croissants, viennoiserie, tarts and their country loaf, and the only cinnamon pastry is the morning bun: croissant dough filled with orange zest and cinnamon, tossed in organic sugar. It is excellent, but a morning bun is not a cinnamon roll, so Tartine is not on this map.
